Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problems of diffraction and scattering of electromagnetic waves by heterogeneities in electrodynamic structures. The body of results, described in thesis presents an aproximate analytical theory of the excitation of uncoupled and coupled thin linear impedance antennnas in electrodynamic general-type structures, for which the Green function of vector potential is constructed. The process of scattering by impedance heterogeneity, in particular, by impedance antenna in a circular waveguide is considered. In the framework of the self-consistent model the undertaken studies have allowed to determine the regularities of current strength distribution along the linear antenna with due regard for mutual influence of cymmetrical and antisymmetrical oscillations of antenna's current strength.
