Lebedeva T. The Dynamics of Military Lexical Subsystem Development in Modern German

The object of research is the German military lexicon, which has been currently used on the territory of modern Germany since 1990. The aim of research is establishing the basic development tendencies of the German military vocabulary subsystem. The methods of research used are — descriptive, comparative, method of component analysis, analysis of lexicographical works, interrogation of informmen. Theoretical results and novelty: the basic development tendencies of the German military vocabulary subsystem on the lexical and word formation levels and the role of functional reorientation of lexical units are established; the extra-linguistic factors in the dynamic processes are determined and their influence on the development of the investigated lexicon is considered. Practical results: the possibility of using in the practical course of the German language, in the course of German lexicology and stylistics, in creating study-methodic literature, in lexicographical work. The results were put into practice in military educational establishments. The sphere of usage is Philology, Pedagogy.
