The N.J.Danilevsky's theory of cultural-historical types. Reconstruction, interpretation, critical meaning the N.J.Danilevsky's theory of cultural-historical types and clarifying of role itself in historical-philosophical process. The methodological bases - interdisciplinary approach; principles: objectivity, unity of logical and historical, dialectical discrepancy of cognition; methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, hermeneutic, comparative. In the dissertation complex historical-philosophical analysis of the N.J.Danilevsky's theory of cultural-historical types were carried. Ontological, gnosiological, logical and methodological researches of the famous Russian thinker were considered in context of the European and the Russian philosophical tradition. Our investigation permitted to give a meaning the Danilevsky's theory in historical-philosophical perspective. Europocentristic vision of the world history and speculativeness of the German classical philosophy appeared in a role of polemical background for the Danilevsky's social ontology and social gnosiology. Laws of the historical development, ethnopsychological conception of culture, geopolitics and social futurology of N.J.Danilevsky were analyzed. It was revealed importance of Danilevsky's investigations for understanding of present civilizative situation. Sphere of use are theoretical studies in history of philosophy, philosophy of history, social philosophy, sociology, culturology and training courses.
