Essay

An urgency of the present research is determined by necessity to specify social and political viewpoints of the scientist, as well as by insufficient level of study of the given problem in Ukrainian and foreign historiography. M.P. Dragomanov's contribution to a study and comprehension of the development of the Ukrainian national, radical-democratic (narodnik), liberal-democratic (clannishness) movement is fully investigated. A use of system approach has opened up a possibility to fully present scientific developments of M.P. Dragomanov.
