Essay

The thesis is dedicated to study of nickel(II) and copper(II) coordination compounds with bidentate ligands of oxime, amide and hydroxamate types. The complex formation properties of the chelate ligands with donor sets {oxime, hydroxamate} and {2 x hydroxamate} have been investigated for the first time. The physico-chemical and spectral properties of the obtained compounds have been investigated, their composition and coordination modes of the ligands were established. By means of X-ray single crystal analysis the structure of 9 complex compounds (including 3 polynuclear) was determined
