Essay

Metabolism of cyclophosphamide (CP), its toxic and alkylating metabolites, activity of microsomal enzymes; test-preparations for definitions of activity of drug metabolizing enzymes; influence of antioxidants, phenobarbital and sillard on metabolism, toxicity and antitumor's effect of CP is investigated. The complex of antioxidants Tri-V Plus and entherosorbent Sillard prevents inactivation of CP-metabolizing enzymes and enzymes that take part in the inactivation of the toxic metabolite acrolein. As a result antiblastomic activity of CP increases and the toxity decreases.
