Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to investigation of the protonation and complexing processes on the surface of chemically modified silicas (CMS) with covalently bonded alkylamines: methylaminopropyl-, cyanoethylaminopropyl, ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine and N-propanenitril-ethylenediamine. Peculiarities of the prototation and complexing processes were investigated for five different ligands bonded to two different carriers. For the first time influence of bonded group concentration end their nature for the protonation constant value were investigated for single homological row. The analysis of the constant was allowed to demonstrate the nature of abnormal additional protonation constants for immobilized monodentate amines. It was demonstrated that the second constant is responsible for density of bonded group in immobilased layer. This density is related with size of immobilized molecule. Complexing of Cu(BF4)2 and PdCl2 with 9 CMS from single homological row were investigated. Compression of the results from adsorption isotherms, electronic spectra, EPR and FTIR spectroscopy allows to determine the composition of bonded complexes and found that it is mainly determined by linear size of immobilized ligand.
