Essay

Thesis is devoted to efficiency and quality improvement to generate geologic sections by creating a special-purpose geoinformation sys-tem (GIS) and information technology for their computer-aided generation. Proposed are con-cepts to create a special-purpose GIS based on a deposit spatial model and improved triangulation-based technique for seam modeling. Developed are GIS-structure; models for natural and tech-nogenic objects necessary to create GIS. A spe-cial-purpose GIS is created for computer-aided generation of geologic sections. Results are used for information support of geologic survey and mine surveying.
