Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of Mantoux skin test performing and tuberculosis prophylaxis among children inhabiting the industrial region during the epidemic period. The tuberculosis morbidity development due to regard of the unfavorable industrial factors influence was studied. The necessity of different approaches to formation of risk groups among children from industrial or farmer region was proved. The low level of medical and economical effectiveness for screeningtype Mantoux skin test performing was revealed. The dispensary observation upon children with doubtful skin test results was advised. Peculiarities of the infected children immunological status were studied according to ecological characteristics of their environment. The traditional regimen of the disease pharmacological prophylaxis was improved by adding the immunoactive drug. New organizational and methodological measures for tuberculosis contamination and the disease revealing, as though new approaches to specific immunological and pharmacological prophylaxis were worked out.
