Pinchuk I. The system of the rehabilitation of in- and out-patients suffering from dementia accompanying Alzheimer's disease

Using the complex of clinical, clinicopsychopathological, experimentally - psychological, social and statistical investigation's methods, the features of a dementia at Alzheimer's disease have been studied. The needs of the elderly people with dementias at Alzheimer's disease in realization of a complex of rehabilitation measures have been studied. The system of stabilizing measure aimed at the rehabilitation potential of the patient and preserving at the highest possible level of his social activity and restoring his ability to fulfill everyday routine duties to take care of himself without other people's help and reducing the dependence upon the above - mentioned help was developed, grounded and introduced on the basis of the comprehensive analysis of the clinic and psychopathological peculiarities of the patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The needs of the people taking care of the patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease have been studied. The high performance of rehabilitationmeasuresto draw a conclusion about the expediency of their intrusion in an overall system of treatment of the patients with a dementia at Alzheimer's disease.
