Shabas N. Physical parameters of plasma tails of comets 1P/Halley, 67P/Churymov-Gerasimenko, C/1970 N1 (Abe), C/1982 M1 (Austin).

The dissertation contains the results of study рhysical conditions in plasma tails of comets 1P/Halley, 67P/Churymov-Gerasimenko, C/1970 N1 (Abe), C/1982 M1 (Austin). Physical parameters (the acceleration, the life time of fluorescent ions, longitudinal and cross diffusion coefficients, magnetic field induction limits) of plasma tails of these comets are calculated. Change magnetic field induction of plasma tails which is newly formed after the disconnection event is presented as transient of exponential increase with definite relaxation time (24 hours). Existence of solar flare effects and other solar activity events on physical conditions in plasma tails of comets is found. Field of use: astrophysics.
