Essay

The thesis is devoted to the interaction of polarized electron beams with a polarized electron target. Moller scattering of polarized electrons is the most known process to obtain information about the value, sign and direction of the electron beam polarization. Therefore, the research of the process is of importance for physics of polarized electron beams and elementary particle physics. Theoretical analysis and experiments were made to investigate the influence of the effect associated with the use of a polarized electron target with bound electrons on the interaction of polarized electrons. The physical effects that influence the electron beam polarization value are described. Dependence of the accuracy of polarized experiments on these effects is demonstrated.
