Object of research - the norms of law, which determine the relations of administrative activity. The goal of research - to highlight problems related to the improvement of administrative activity of Ukrainian militia and on the base of comparative analyses of the work of militia and police if some countries from abroad preparing proposals regarding the improvement of valid legislation and practical aspects of the work of Ukrainian militia. Methods of research - a) general scientific ( system - analytical, formal - logical, comparative law and typological ); b) social (surveillance of public opinion, interviewing); c) statistical ( observation, analyzing of documents). Theoretical results and innovation - theoretical findings can be the initial base for further research of administrative activity of Ukrainian militia and enable improvement of administrative legislation of Ukraine and its practical utilization. Practical results and innovation - main provisions can be applied to a) practical activity ofmilitia; b) amendments to the Administrative code of Ukraine in the sphere concerning efficiency of militia's activity; c) preparations of respective chapters of manuals and methodical instructions. Subject and level of implementation - the results of the research are sent to the working group, which prepares the draft of Administrative procedure code of Ukraine. Efficiency of implementation - conclusions and proposals got positive feedback from the specialists. Scope of its use - administrative activity of militia, legislative and scholastic process.
