The objects of studies. The hybrids, sort of corn and European corn borer. The purpose of studies. The determination of stability of hybrids and sorts of corn to European corn borer and development of methods of perennial forecasting of its number. The methods of studies. Generally accepted in ecology and entomology, plant protection. Theoretical and practical results. It is elaborated particularities of biology of vermin connected with stability of corn to him, displayed hybrids, having sufficient level to resistances to European corn borer, is determined inverse dependency perennial speakers pest from solar activity and is developped method of forecasting of its number, is advanced strategy of calculation of losses of harvest of corn from complex of pests.
