The object is processes of formation of heat-insulating materials on the base of the Al2O3-SiO2-MgO-P2O5 system compositions; the aims -elaboration of fibrous heat-insulating materials on the base of the Al2O3-SiO2-MgO-P2O5 system compositions for use at the tem-peratures up to 1400 0C; the methods are advanced methods of research of multi-component systems as well as a number of physical and chemical analysis methods; novelty - the phase equilibria in the system are studied, the subsolidus structure of the system is ascertined, a geometrical and topological characteristics of the Al2O3-SiO2-MgO-P2O5 system phases is given; it is determined that the alumophosphate binder slows down the mullite crystallization into the fibers and increases thermostability of the products on their base;results - the subsolidus structure of the system is determined, the technology of heat-insulating flagstones for application in the high-temperature plants at temperatures up to 1400 0C is elaborated; trials - experimental batchs are produced industrial under industrial conditions; the field is high-temperature heat-insulating for plantes of varios industrial branches.
