Essay

Reconstruction of images of the substance distribution in x-ray computed tomography (CT). To improve methods and means of mathematical modeling as well as computational methods of image reconstruction in local CT when low x-ray intensities is used. Methods of research: spectral and correlation theory of random signals and fields; simulation modeling and computational experiments. The models of a tomographic image and Radon image (RI) using nonuniformity indicators were build. A periodically correlated feature of the RI processing noise was taken into account. Due to this methods of image reconstruction was improved and iterative reconstruction algorithms was synthesized and its initial approximation was optimized. Spheres of usage are: medical diagnostics, nondestructive testing.
