In dissertational the robot results theoretical and experimental researches of a vertical cleaner of tops of root crops are resulted. On the basis of the analysis of existing working bodies, theoretical and experimental researches the constructive circuit is determined and rational parameters of work of a vertical cleaner which allows to increase parameters of quality of work are established. By results of researches the experimental sample of a cleaner which industrial check has proved perspectivity of the chosen direction of researches is developed and made. Keywords: sugar beet, cleaner, rests of a tops of vegetable, head of a root crop, copying, degree of clearing, rational parameters.
