Essay

Radiation of pulse electromagnetic field. Clearing up of physical regularities of the pulse electromagnetic field radiation by Harmuth's large current radiators (LCR) and development recommendations on the ultra wideband antenna systems creation. Methods of research are finite difference time domain technique and direct observation of amplitude-temporal dependence of pulse field strength around the radiator. Sampling oscilloscope. Distribution of electric and magnetic components of the pulse field strength of near and far zones for the LCR is investigated. Quantitative estimations of the amplitude of radiated field increasing conditioned by radiator dimensions increasing are obtained. The dependence of the amplitude of near and far zones components of the electromagnetic field on the resistance in the antenna driving circuit is investigated. Cylindrical multi-layer metal-ferrite shield is proposed for return loop shielding. Possibility to radiate different durations pulse electromagnetic fields with the same LCR is shown. Sphere of use is radar, radio communication.
