Kvas O. The influence of ethnic stereotypes on the process of interpersonal evaluation.

The dissertation presents the results of psychological analysis of the influence of ethnic stereotypes on the process of interpersonal evaluation by the university students. The necessity for such an investigation is conditioned: by the practical significance of the problem; by the lack of research of ethnic stereotypes, especially in the psychology of Ukrainians as an ethnos and a nation; by the place of the mentioned phenomenon in the structure of interpersonal communication and joined activity. The analysis of results of the given experimental research made it possible to identify typical psychological features of the stereotypes of the contemporary Ukrainian students (in the Ukrainian East-West paradigm), assisted to determine significant content-semantic indicators of the mechanisms and peculiarities of stereotypification in the process of interpersonal evaluation.
