Essay

The work is devoted to ascertaining the role of structural changes in circulating neutrophilic granulocytes and large granules-containing lymphocytes because of inhibity the cellular chain of non-specific resistance and to developing some criteria of assessing a body general immune ability in the severe-burnt on the basis of morphometric parameters of lymphocytes in the blood. The investigation revealed endotoxemia to result in hyperactivity of neutrofilic granulocytes membranes which promoted increasing their absorptive ability in acute bactericidal action inhibition and was accompanied by cellular self-collapse. On the other hand endotoxemia caused sharp decreasing relation and absolute contents of large granules-containing lymphocytes in the blood (natural killers) with simultanious alteration of their ultrastructural components. Definite criteria of classifying and dividing peripheral blood lymphocytes into four groups were develop for healthy persons. The observation showed severe thermal injuries to lead to redistribution of lymphocytes with significant decreasing lymphocytes of the first two types. The obtained results demonstrated a sharp inhibition of functional activity of neutrophilic granulocytes, natural killers, a marked decrease of lymphocytes amount of the Ist and IInd types to stipulate the risk of inhibiting the body immune ability and infections complications occurrence in the severe-burnt.
