Essay

It was found that the damage frequency of the first permanent molars of the mandibula is not the same, they having different odontogliphics. It was established that the fossulae of the molar occlusal surfaces are damaged by caries earlier than fissures. For the first time in clinic the depth of the occlusal surface fossulae was studied. It was found that molars with deep fossulae of the occlusal surface are damaged by caries more often than molars with average and not deep fossulae, it being explained due to the lowering of the fossulae mineralization level and their deepening. For the first time in clinic the preventive effectiveness of fissure obturation of the first permanent molars was proved, their odontogliphics and fossulae depth of the intercusp fissures being taken into account. The basis and adaptation to the clinic conditions of the differential approach criteria to the fissure caries prevention took place.
