Essay

The process of exploitation and repair of the electric rolling-stock wheels. The aim of investigation is the reliability augmentation of activity axle-box of clusters of wheel pairs of electric locomotives. The methods of probability theory and reliability, mathematical statistics utilised. For the first time for an estimation of reliability and resource of bodies of bearings the mathematical model of physical formation of gradual failures by yardstick of wearing is trusted to. The new model of reliability prediction of a master schedule of recovery of parts of a carriage rolling stock is designed. Frames and mechanical characteristics of restoring layers on a wear resistance and fatigue life of bodies of bearings for the first time are established of regularity of influencing of operating characteristics of a pair of friction “an axle-box - outside ring of the bearing box”. Designed technology and installation, are inserted in locomotive depot a Nignedneprovsk-Uzel Pridneprovsky of the railway. The efficiency in a money's worth has compounded of 542 thousand grn. annually on indicated depot. Sphere of use is the railway transport.
