Essay

The objects are pyrazoline and polymethine luminophores; the aim is to define mechanisms causing large Stokes shifts in spectra of pyrazoline, as well as features of luminophor association in binary solutions containing surfactants; the methods are optical and laser time-correlated photon counting spectroscopy; results, novelty: it has been shown that in the excitation state of pyrazoline derivatives, a strong relaxation of equilibrium Frank-Kondon nuclear geometry occurs; for the fragment of pyrazoline derivatives, the formation of TICT-state in the excitation state has been first shown; a strong influence of surfactant nature on an aggregation process of amphiphilic polymethine dyes has been found; the fields of implementation are optical spectroscopy of organic luminophores, biology and medicine for development of new luminescent probes.
