The object is 307 patients (children) with acute herpetic stomatitis; the aim is to increase the treatment effectiveness of acute herpetic stomatitis on the basis of studying separate pathogenesis links; the methods are epidemiological, clinical, biochemical, morphological, and microbiological; the new approach: further teaching development of herpetic stomatitis pathogenesis has been obtained; results - the activation of lipids peroxide oxidation in the patients blood serum and disbalance in the system of antioxidation have been determined; expedience of using the antioxidant - tea tree oil in complex therapy has been proved; all this thesis has been introduced in training and medical practice; the field is medicine.
