Zhelavska Y. Improvement of electrochemical technologies of cobalt compounds processing

The object is of cobalt compounds and their electrochemical methods processing; the purpose is to elaboration of the technological process of the electrochemical cobalt extraction from cobalt containing secondary raw materials by using of low-concentration electrolytes; the methods are polarizations measurements and of the metal cobalt quantity colorimetry and spectrum analyses; novelty is for the first time established kinetic parameters of the cobalt cathodic deposition from low-concentration (0,4-0,6 mol/dm3) chloride-sulphate solutions and also influence compounds having surface-active and reduction properties on electrodic processes; the thechnological process of cobalt containing secondary raw materials complex processing have been developed, including of cobalt extraction, cobalt coating formation and oxide Co3O4 electrosynthesis processes; the thesis has been used by SE "Association "Azot" (Severodonetsk) and SE "Himprom" (Pervomaysk); the field is the plants of the hydro-electric metallurge industry and galvanic productions
