The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of diagnostic quality and a rise in efficacy of treaty cardiac disorders in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The ECG- and EchoCG-based studies have determined that cardiac disorders are observed in every second patient with rheumatoid arthritis, while the severity of cardiopathy, myocardial hypertrophy, changes in the heart chambers and valves, disturbed excitability and conduction, the systolic and diastolic function of the left ventricle are affected by NO2 and the age of the patient, the duration, activity, stage and seropositivity of the disease, the level of arterial pressure and total peripheral resistance, the involvement of the lungs and the kidneys. The state of NO2 metabolism correlates with the blood level of individual immunocytes, immunoglobulins, circulatciy immune complexes and cytokines and determines the signs of the course of this disease. The experimental study has determined that animals with adjuvant develop dystrophy and necrosis of cardiomyocytes, myocardial cell infiltration, perivascular, intermuscular and subendocardial sclerosis, sclerosis of the vessels and stroma, their frequency and degree of pronouncement being interconnected with NO2 metabolism. The use of NO2 synthesis stimulators significantly increases the efficacy of treating cardiopathy in rheumatoid arthritis.
