It is determined that the pigskin structure normally is similar to human skin. In the basal layer of the pigskin epidermis there have been defined three types of epidermocytes, which differ in size and nucleocytoplasmic index. It is determined that хenodermografts remain biologically active for one year when kept in Glycerol-yolk solution, liquid nitrogen, and after lyophilization. It is determined that lyophilized xenodermografts have antitoxic effect. Application of lyophilized xenodermografts in treatment of superficial and deep burns facilitates granulation tissue formation, advances wound epithelization, allows to reduce the period of treatment for 5-6 days.
