Essay

A new method of the track-laying tractor transmission diagnostics with gear shifting without a rupture in the power flow has been founded, which is based upon the analysis of transition processes in the control hydraulic drive. This method makes it possible to determine the faults in the hydraulic drive without dismantling the hydraulic units, including the rapture in the power flow, instability in the lines of force along the tractor sides which cannot be determined by any known means and methods. It has been proved theoretically and practically that the diagnosing certainty that ensures a full information about the transmission faults of a tractor determines its efficiency. The increase in diagnosing accuracy of the transmission hydraulic drive made it possible to cut down the standing idle of T-150-05 tractors by 3 - 5 % to reduce the diagnostics labour-consuming from 0.8 to 0.15 man - hours, the operating liquid (oil) expenditures being reduced by 2.5 kg.
