Essay

Waveguide-dielectric resonators with filling losses. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of the spectral, scattering and absorption properties of resonators based on partially filled rectangular waveguide sections. Mode matching and generalized scattering matrix methods. A spectral approach to the synthesis of reject cells is generalized. Two models of the resonance scattering and absorption are firstly developed that differ in manner of controlling the properties of a resonator operating eigen oscillation. The results are promising at solving the synthesis and design problems concerned with multi-section bandstop and absorption filters.
