Voronina I. 3. Disturbance of mineral metabolism in alveolar bone under generalized periodontitis and its correction for diabetics.

The disseratation is devoted to study of generalized periodontitis clinic observation of insulin-dependent diabetics. It was stated, that examined patients' generalized periodontitis is characterized by general gingivitis, periodontal pockets, tendency to abscess formation, active destructive process in alveolar bone. It was found out that indices characterizing the state of insulin-dependent diabetics parodontal tissue depend on duration and degree of compensation complexity of disease. There was also detected the disturbance of mineral structure of alveolar bone, especially decrease of calcium, phosphorus, silicon, magnesium, potassium content under conditions of experimental streptozotocin and genetically inclined diabetes. Dependence of proteolytic process activity in alveolar bone of insulin-dependent diabetes from degree and activity of generalized periodontitis has been proved. The method of complex treatment for generalized periodontitis of insulin-dependent diabetics with use of proteolysis inhibitor - gordox, calcium and fluoride medicines of exogenous use and complex of macro- and microelements "Milltrium" of endogenous use has been found and proved on basis of undertaken investigations. High efficiency of the proposed complex treatment of generlized periodontitis of insulin- dependent diabetics is corroborated by the results of X-ray and laboratory rasearch.
