Essay

In the dissertation the problem of breakage of voltage transformers in the networks with insulated neutral is considered. The way of solving this problem by updating methods and means of protecting available voltage transformers from ferroresonance processes and phase-to-ground connections was developed both from qualitative and quantitative points of view. Radical way of avoiding voltage transformers damages was suggested, on the basis of which the scheme of a new nonresonating transformer voltage was developed and its technical realization was performed.
