The object of research - a scientific and technical potential of the pharmaceutical branch of Ukraine. The subject of research - modern tendencies, connected with financial, personnel and organizational support of scientific developments of new medicinal resources, and also with becoming in Ukraine of market bases in the given branch of scientific activity. The tasks, set in the work, were solved by using special methods of economic research.
