Dissertation is devoted to research of encroachment on statesman or public man, its indications. Argued the theoretical points as for the criminal responsibility for encroachment on statesman or public man. Investigated objective and subjective indications of this crime. Proposed general, terminological determination of statesman. The author draws the conclusion that corpus of encroachment on statesman or public man formulated by lawmaker is formal. Theoretically grounded thesis that the aim of the crime is damaging of such part of political system of Ukraine. Proposed the recognition as a subject of encroachment on statesman or public man natural persons who is 16 at the moment of crime. Analyzed correlation of encroachment on statesman or public man with another norms of Criminal code of Ukraine Special part. Proposed some changes in Criminal code of Ukraine with the aim of its perfection.
