Essay

The object is layered crystals InxTl1-xJ (0.2<x<0.95). The aim is measurement and analysis of phonon spectra InxTl1-xJ, identification of modes and describtion some efects dependent upon the changing of the content of solid solutions. The methods are IR spectroscopy, raman scattering spectra, rentgenostuctural analis and computers methods. The phonon modes is carried out on the basis of group-theoretical approach. The indentification of the main bands available in the phonon spectra is performed with accounting for the intra-claster and inter-layer interactions within the unit cells of the solid solution. The factor-group splittings in the IR spectra and the Fano's anti-resonance in the RS spectra are found. The essentialchanges in the phonon spectra structure dependent on the thallium component content are associated with breading off the solid substitution solubility within the sandwich In(Tl)-J-In(Tl) layers and entering the thallium ions into the inter-layer gaps (the effect of auto-intercalation).The role of the free charge carries in the mechanism of phase transformations is considered. Sphere of use is optoelectronics: modulation, functional elements in sensors.
