The dissertation is devoted to the study of the clinical course of complications set in nervous system and kidneys at diphtheria at the present stage. The features of the clinical course of diphtheritic nephroso-nephritis and polyneuropathia arising in the early and late periods of disease are described in this work, and their connection with the gravity of diphtheria course, spread of local inflammatory process as well as the influence of an accompanying pathology on frequency and gravity of the course of these complications are revealed. The assumptions of the different mechanism of a nervous system lesion at diphtheria in early and late periods of disease are stated. The features of the course of acute nephroso-nephtitis are investigated at the severe forms of diphtheria depending on the reasons of its occurrence, which cause the necessity of the differentiated approach to treatment of such. There is an analysis of the efficiency of various methods of treatment of diphtheritic polyneuropathia.
