Oksana A. The Functioning of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in the Context of the State-Church Relationship.

In the present thesis the functional aspect of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) life are investigated in the context of its relationship and ecclesiastical self-identification of the Ukrainian Greek Catholics in the context of the relationship between the state and the Church. The philosophical and legal aspects of this relationship are analyzed. The author also elaborates the question of the interconnection of the national and religious, spiritual renaissances. The social doctrine of the UGCC, the sources of conflicts between the religious communities are being analysed, the patterns of the dialogue between churches are being suggested. 7452
