Dmyterko I. Repeated neurosurgical operations under recurrent severe forms of trigeminal neuralgia.

Dissertation is devoted to actual questions of repeated neurosurgical treatment of recurrent of difficalt forms of trigeminal neuralgia. The retrospective study of 160 diseased patients with trigeminal neuralgia underwent repeated surgical interventions due to disease recurrence allowed us to reveal factors of trigeminal neuralgia recurrence after surgical treatment.Based on research carried out, tactics of repeated diagnostic of patients with recurrent severe forms of trigeminal neuralgia after surgical treatment and tactics of chainging the method of repeated surgical intervention in these occusions. Comparative analysis of repeated surgical treatment of severe forms of trigeminal neuralgia with small surgical and modern neurosurgical methods was done and role of each of them was determined. It was noted that guantity previous surgical interventions, especially their number, can substantially influence on the reslt of repeated surgical treatment of trigeminal neuralgia which doesn't depend on character, that should be taken into account in choosing technique of the latter.
