Essay

Object of research: methods of processing of the images in systems of processing of the information. The purpose of research: increase of quality of functioning of systems of processing of the images. Methods of re-search: mathematical modeling, theory of recognition, information, codings, methods of programming. Theo-retical and practical results: the definition of marks of plane figures in the terms of sets of atomic elements is offered; the method of the automated processing of the images is developed. Novelty: the task of marks identi-fication, given in the terms, of discrete sets is put; the theoretical bases of modeling of marks on discrete sets are developed a method of the automated processing of the discrete images. A degree of introduction: the re-sults are accepted to use by a Donetsk metal works, in-stitute "AvtomatGorMash"; are used in educational process on faculty "Applied mathematics and theory of control systems" of Donetsk national university. Area of use: interbranch.
