Essay

The object is the C9 fraction of the diesel fuel pyrolysis, peroxy derivatives of the epoxy compounds and polymeric compositions on the basis of petroleum resins with epoxy groups; the aim and task of the investigation are to develop the scientific bases of the technological production of petroleum resins with epoxy groups. These resins are obtained on the basis of the C9 fraction of the diesel fuel pyrolysis in the presence of peroxides and have higher molecular mass to compare with well-known resins. This fact permits to obtain protective coatings with better propeties; methods - analytic and spektrfl investigations, complex thermal analysis, liguid chromatografy, determination of physico-mechanical and chemical properties of the compositions; scientific novelty - the main regularities of the process of petroleum resins with epoxy groups obtaining have been established. The petroleum resins have been obtained by cooligomerization of unsaturated compounds presented in the C9 fraction in the presence offunctional peroxides. The epoxy derivative of 1-[4,4'-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)phenil]cyclohaxene has been obtained. The thermal decompositions of this derivative and 1,2-epoxy-3-tert-butylperoxypropane also have been studied. The effect of the initiator structure on the characteristics of petroleum resins with epoxy groups has been established. The petroleum resins with polymeric and polycondensative fragments and epoxy, hydroxy and anhydride groups with the molecular weight of 5000-5220 rel.units have been synthesized at fist; results - the new petroleum resins with epoxy groups have been obtained. They can be used as active additives for the products produced on the basis of the ED-22 industrial epoxy resin. The properties of the materials are better to compare with existing materials. The introduction has benn performed at the state plant "Orisil"; the branch - petrochemical industry.
