Golovata I. Elaboration of Marginal Value Theory by Ukrainian economists of the end of 19th - beginning of 20 th centuries

Object - Heritage of Ukrainian Marginal school economists. Study of genesis of marginal value theory in the works of Ukrainian economists and of their theoretical role in economics science in Ukraine. Methods of research are the historical, genetic, synthetic. It is investigated: specificity of Ukrainian marginalism; 3 stages of Ukrainian marginalism development;at first showed psycho physiology studies in Ukrainian economics; R.Orzhentsky's basic model of consumers' behavior was 60 years earlier than Western; it is investigated theoretical specificity of M.Tuhan-Baranovsky and E.Slutsky views on problems of value. Sphere of use is the studying programmes and courses on History of economic thought.
