Essay

The thesis is focused on the study for 3d?metal ion complexes with a novel ligand system - P,N-substituted structural analogues of b- diketons and the search of main factors influencing composition and structure of the coordination compounds formed by the carbacylamidophosphate ligands. Crystal structure of 15 coordination compounds has been determined and it was proved that in all cases the carbacylamidophosphate species act as anionic ligands. They were coordinated by the metal centers via oxygen atoms of phosphorylic and carbonyl groups forming six-membered chelate cycles. Less commonly, the carbacylamidophosphates could display also tridentate chelate-bridging function via oxygen atoms of CO and PO groups.
