Essay

The thesis teals with the problem of increasing the efficiency of circular knitting machines work by means of the development of more effective of braking system constructions. The basic directions of perfection existing and the development of the new braking system constructions of circular machines have been adduced. Theoretical fundamentals and engineering methods of designing reliable dynamic breaking system ensuring the increase of circular machine efficiency at the expense of raising knitted fabric quality and reducing non-productive loss of machine work time have been worked out. The new designs of braking system have been proposed. The basic technological developments were tested at the enterprise in order to estimate their serviceability and efficiency of work.
