Dissertation research is devoted to questions of forming of mechanism and set of instruments of providing effective functioning of national shipping companies. It based on criterions regarding effective of economical decisions, stability of operation activities in conditions of freight market. It determined the methodical propositions regarding management of shipping companies on criterions functioning and economical stability. It offered the mechanism of managing of coming national shipping companies into the integrational transport systems. It offered the mechanism and set of instruments of forming international register of ships and regional exchange in conditions of Ukraine. Results of research are realized in practical activities of shipping companies.
