The work is devoted to the problem of newborn and baby enteral nutrition in intensive therapy conditions. The use of enteral semi-elemental formula is proposed. The method of enteral nutrition effectiveness definition is elaborated. The complex evaluation of newborn and baby enteral nutrition in critical states is given. The circumstances of enteral nutrition beginning are analyzed. The clinical effectiveness of different cow milk formulas is defined. The necessity of semi-elemental formulas in newborn and baby enteral nutrition is demonstrated. Basing at the clinical and mathematical analysis the method of enteral nutrition effectiveness definition is worked out.
