Kucher Z. The peculiarities of the poetic manner and the problems of F.Durrenmatt's prose

In this dissertation the belles-lettres prose of F.Durrenmatt is being investigated for the fist time in the Ukrainian Literary criticism. Durrenmatts works are analyzed here as the integral phenomenon covering the whole complex of the most important typological links with the cardinal philosophically-aesthetic and literary tendencies typical for the present state of the modern cultural process. Within the framework of this investigation the basic philosophical and theological provisions, which influenced so specific a structure and general pathetic contents of Durrenmatts prose are determined. The most characteristic feature of the individual author's fiction system and the basic problematic of the works are being analyzed. The main stages of the belles-letters prose evolution are marked. The attempt is made to establish the thematic and formal ties within the prose works of different periods.
