The dissertation work is devoted to questions of improvement of technology and organization of tests of the brake equipment a diesel engine of trains. The analysis of existing brake systems of a suburban railway transportation is carried out (spent). Are chosen and the criteria of efficiency of brake systems are designed. The technique of account of reliability of brake system a diesel engine-train is advanced and the accounts of reliability of brake systems of various series are made. The model of a choice of the nomenclature of parameters for tests is developed.
