. It has been established in the clinical part of the work that the feature of the modern passing of optical nerve atrophy is the advantage two-sided localization of pathological processes, duration shortening from disease beginning until the time of hospitalization of the patient, increase of the examples of second hospitalization, increase in the number of persons at the working age with the great percentage of pupils, students and invalids of vision. In the experiments with the use of 95 rabbits it has been proved that by methanol intoxication is observed dystrophy-destructive changes in the nerve retina apparatus, optical nerve fibers and neurons of the occipital cortex brain area. In the optical nerve was accomplished a partial recovering of myelinated fibers on the basis of intoxication of the lipoperoxidation and proteolysis processes and enzymatic fibrinolysis depression that reaches its maximum in the retrobulbar area of the optical nerve. After intracranial perineural embryonic nerve tissues transplantation (TENT) reparative regeneration changes by dystrophy structures of the optical route is accomplished permanently and on the 30th day after transplantation period almost all elements of the optical analyzer are recovered. TENT prevents processes activation of lipid forms peroxide oxidation and proteins proteolytic destruction and fibrinolysis tissue lesion in the retrobulbar area of the optical nerve. By examination of the optical bottom with definition of optical nerve condition and dynamics changes of optical induced potentials is proved the effectiveness of TENT use for function recovery of the optical nerve in acute period of methanol intoxication that opens the certain prospects for developing new treatment's method of partial optical nerve in humans.
