Essay

Object of research: tubular constructions with exterior glass-fibre plastic sheathing. The purpose of research: different variants of tubular constructions and ways of their connection are scientifically grounded. Techniques of glass-fibre reinforcement of tubes and the device of reeling equipment are elaborated. Much attention is paid to the problems of mechanics of reeling reinforced glass-fibre plastic armature on the cores of tubes and monitoring an effort of reeling the armature. In case of glass-fibre plastic armature an essential part plays the problem of calculation of losses of effort in the armature plays an essential part. The programme of reeling the tape in view of losses of effort in the armature is described. An attempt of increasing the technological possibilities of tubes by way of manufacturing new constructions of tubes is done in this thesis. Research has shown that with the adding of longitudinal reinforcement in the form of steel and glass-fibre plastic cores and outside glass-fibre plastic envelope efforts are distributed in the piping , the tube is noticeably discharged and the larger part of outside loading is being taken by longitudinal cores and glass-fibre plastic envelope.
