Essay

The purpose of the work was the increase of the efficacy of the treatment of ovarian cancer with urfavourrible prognosis using radiotherapy in complex anti-tumor treatment. The use of adjuvant course of radiotherapy in patients with ascitic ovarian cancer increased the duration of the relapse-free period in patients. The analysis of the calculated coefficients demonstrated that the efficacy of complex treatment, which has included radiotherapy was significantly higher than that of combined therapy. In contrast to the patients who had undergone adequate surgery treatment, anti-tumor therapy of the initially undercured patients irrespective on its protocol, considerably changed the lymphocyte link (reduction of the total pool of circulating peripheral lymphocytes), marked T-immune deficiency.
