Volodyna O. Criminal responsibility for abducting people (analysis of corpus delicti).

The dissertation is dedicated to problems of criminal responsibility for abducting people. It conducts the analysis of historical development of criminal legislation of Ukraine and many other countries for responsibility for abducting people. The objective and subjective features of this corpus delicti are investigated in detail. There is a newly given definition of abduction of a person, along with the proposal to give it a normative character. The qualificative and especially qualificative features of this corpus delicti are investigated in the dissertation. Except the detailed analysis of judicial features of abduction of a person, the work also gives rather full characteristics of main features of unlawful deprivation of freedom in a measure necessary for the comparative analysis of the crimes. Basing on which the criteria of their limitations are set, and different level of their danger to community is shown. Also the arguments are given about the necessity of setting a responsibility for these crimes in certain articles of the Criminal Code. Propositions on further improvement of the criminal law concerning responsibility for abduction of people.
